The Scotlandville High School Class of 1961 donated $500.00 to our Alma Mater on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. The Principal, Mr. Paul Jackson, accepted the funds on behalf of the students. The Class stipulated that the funds are to be used for the direct benefit of students at the discretion of the principal.

CELEBRATES 60TH YEAR REUNION
The Scotlandville High School Class of l961 celebrated its 60th year class reunion on
Friday, April 22, 2022, at Lagniappe Seafood Restaurant in Baker, Louisiana.

Members of the class enjoyed the fellowship and were delighted to see some for the first time since graduation on May 31, 1961.
Also present was Mr. Leroy Poydras, teacher and class sponsor, who is now 101 years of age. He was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Elsie Poydras. Mr. Poydras shared words of wisdom. He was presented a gift from the class.
Classmates and guests traveled from surrounding parishes as well as New Orleans and the states of Tennessee, and Georgia.
